Hi, my name is Kiera Pirell, and I am a visual arts educator with over 10 years of teaching experience and more than 25 years working within the special education community. Throughout my career at Summit School and Greenburgh Graham, I have developed a passion for sharing my experiences with art and encouraging students to explore creativity, self-expression, and personal growth through the artistic process. In my classroom, students are introduced to a variety of cultural, historical, and contemporary forms of art while being encouraged to experiment, build confidence, and discover their own artistic voice. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally through the arts. This portfolio offers a glimpse into my work, teaching philosophy, and commitment to fostering creativity and inspiration in every student.
